Faster Payment System (“FPS”) Service Notice
Due to system enhancement, FPS-related services will be suspended temporarily during the following period:
1am to 6am on 22 May 2022 (Sunday)
CNCBI would like to remind its customers to stay vigilant to bogus voice message phone calls,
SMS messages and emails purported to be from CNCBI, claiming that there are irregularities detected from or
transactions conducted with the customers' bank or credit card accounts and requesting customers to input personal information,
call a bogus bank hotline number or contact an operator for account authentication. Please

To protect you against cyber crimes and frauds, we recommend you:
Do not browse suspicious websites or click on the hyperlinks and attachments in suspicious emails/SMS messages.
Do not disclose the SMS or CNCBI Token or Security Device One Time Password to anyone.
Check the bank SMS message in a timely manner and verify your transaction records. If you have any doubt on the SMS received, contact us immediately and should stop inputting any password or transaction.
Do not provide any user information, i-banking login credentials to any unauthorised third parties.
Change your i-banking password regularly and choose one that is difficult to guess and different from the ones for other online services.
Install and promptly update security software to protect your computers and mobile devices.
Refrain from using public computers or public Wi-Fi to access i-banking.
Check your transaction records via i-banking from time to time and review alert messages and statements issued by the Bank in a timely manner.
